Isabel Remory

Isabel Remory obtained a master’s in molecular medical biotechnology at UGent in 2004. She has worked for 4 years in the R&D department for crop protection atDevgen (Syngenta). After which she joined the University hospital Brussels where she supported clinical studies and worked on different research projects within the cellular and molecular imaging laboratory of the VUB in collaboration with the department of anesthesiology and the department of heart and cardiovascular disease of the UZBrusselfocusing on imaging of inflammation in different diseases such as atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction and valve calcification. Since 2016 she is supporting industrial collaborations and services performed by the ICMI core facility. Since 2022 she is full time member of the ICMI as project manager industrial contracts.  She is a member of the committee on animal research and ethics of the VUB and was ad interim QC manager at the vector development unit (VDU) at its start-up.
